upgrade upgrades
Most computers can be upgraded. And there are quite a number of options as to what you can
upgrade in your system.
Basically there are two different types of upgrade: First is the
Software upgrade, where you can update the operating system on your computer, from an older
slower one, to a newer, faster, more reliable one. You can upgrade individual programs on
your computer, Microsoft Office is a good example of this. You can also
upgrade/update the drivers on your PC.
The second type of upgrade is a Hardware upgrade. This
is where you either replace a piece of hardware with a newer piece, or you
add an extra component to your existing system. An
example of this would be you could increase the amount of RAM you have in your computer,
making it faster and more stable (less prone to blue screen crashes and freezing up).
Upgrades to your hardware will allow your Computer to run more quickly &
smoothly.
You can upgrade your graphics and sound card, these
will be of particular benefit if you have an interest in games or in audio
quality. You can upgrade your processor and/or motherboard, giving your
computer a whole new lease of life. There are many possibilities on upgrading
your system. The price on upgrade parts continues to fall, so it is becoming more practical
to upgrade instead of going to the expense of buying a new system.
